Ficus are definitely some of the most popular houseplants, and for good reason: they are super easy to care for, fast-growing, and beautiful.
They are capable of thriving in low-light conditions; I’ve seen these guys thrive in an east window. The picture below is of two ficus cuttings taken from the same plant at the same time last year. The one on the right lived in an east window this year, while the one on the left was shuffled around a bit, and finally settled in a dimly lit corner. See the difference? ‘Nuff said
